PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the time, labor, and cost required for construction by reducing the number of joint positions when an existing building is reinforced for earthquake resistance with a plurality of braces. SOLUTION: This aseismatic reinforcing structure 1 of an existing building 20 including a plurality of layers includes a plurality of brace groups 2, 10 which are installed outside the skeleton 21 of the existing building 20 and in which a plurality of braces 7, 15, the both ends of which are joined directly or indirectly, through joint members, to the skeleton 21 in the layers of the skeleton 21 on the upper and lower sides of at least one layer, are provided within the predetermined layer range of the skeleton 21 continuously in the vertical direction.
