PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for preventing a crack initiated around an opening, which can restrain or reduce the crack of mortar caused by the behavior of a skeleton in particular regarding the crack initiated around the opening of a building. SOLUTION: The method for preventing the crack initiated around the opening includes forming a space with a radius of 10-150 mm with the corner outside the opening of the building as the center of a circle, and forming the periphery of the opening and the corner outside corresponding to the space part, using different materials.
