PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a partition plate from constantly being held in a floating state in a storage tray by providing a click feeling with the partition plate surely fitted and held into a predetermined position, in the storage tray in a storage tray structure for an automobile. SOLUTION: In the case of partitioning the interior of the storage tray 6 by the partition plates 16 into small chambers, one end side 16-1 of the partition plate 16 is inserted into a recessed groove 10, and the other end side 16-2 is fitted into a pinching groove 12. At this time, the other end side 16-2 of the partition plate 16 is fitted between protrusions 13a, 14a formed in the pinching groove 12 while the partition plate 16 is brought into an inclined state with the other end side 16-2 positioned at the lower side in the storage tray 6.
