The invention relates to novel combinations of active ingredients consisting of at least one known compound of formula (I), in which R1 and A have the meanings cited in the description, and at least one other known active ingredient from the classes of tetronic or tetramic acids. The novel combinations of active ingredients are particularly suitable for controlling animal pests such as insects and undesired acarides.
