摘要 <p>A brake control device for the power system of a hybrid electric vehicle (HEV) comprises an engine brake (7), a motor brake (10) and a control device for the brakes. The power system of the HEV comprises an engine, a small motor (9) and a large motor (8), and they are connected with each other through a double-row type planetary gear set which includes a first planetary row and a second planetary row. The engine is provided on one side of the planetary gear set, and the small motor (9) and the large motor (8) are provided on the other side of the planetary gear set. The first planetary row comprises a small sun gear (3), a planetary carrier (2), short planetary gears (5) and an outer ring gear. The second planetary row comprises a large sun gear (4), long planetary gears (6) and the planetary carrier (2) shared with the first planetary row. The long planetary gears (6) mesh with the short planetary gears (5) and the large sun gear (4) respectively. The output shaft (1) of the engine is connected with the rotating shaft of the planetary carrier (2). The short planetary gears (5) mesh with the small sun gear (3). The small sun gear (3) and the small motor (9) have the same rotation shaft (11). The rotation shaft (11) of the small sun gear (3) is provided with the motor brake (10), and the planetary carrier (2) is provided with the engine brake (7). The control device for the brakes controls the motor brake (10) and the engine brake (7) selectively so as to brake the engine and the motor selectively.</p>
