PURPOSE: A method for providing a control widget and a device using the same are provided to input a control command for an external device from a remote place. CONSTITUTION: A method for providing a control widget comprises the steps of: downloading a control-widget used in the input of a control command for an external device(S210-S230); receiving an edition command for the control-widget(S240); editing the control-widget according to the edition command inputted in the input step(S250); and transferring the user command inputted by using the control-widget to the external device(S270).
