<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-emitting device suppressing the number of wirings for a light-up signal, and also to provide a print head using the light-emitting device and an image forming apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: A storage thyristor M having the same number as a light-emitting thyristor L to be lighted up is made into an ON state and maintained and the storage thyristor M having the same number as the light-emitting thyristor L not to be lighted up is made into an OFF state and maintained, at such a timing that only one transfer thyristor T is in an ON state with respect to the light-emitting thyristor L belonging to a previously set group. After that, the light-up signalϕI is supplied to light up the light-emitting thyristor L to be lighted up. The light-up signalϕI only supplies a current for the purpose of emitting the light of the light-emitting thyristor L, so that the wirings for supplying the light-up signalϕI to a plurality of light-emitting devices arranged in a circuit board are made in common to suppress the number of wirings. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
