PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a scroll compressor in size along the axial direction. SOLUTION: The scroll compressor 10 forms, in the back face 34a of a fixed scroll 34 meshed with a movable scroll 36, a circular recess 72 facing the separation chamber 44 of a rear housing 14, and an oil separation pipe 50 having a cylindrical part and a body part is mounted in the circular recess. The oil separation pipe 50 is held with the cylindrical part inserted in the separation chamber 44 and with the body part caught between the fixed scroll 34 and the rear housing 14 when fitting the fixed scroll 34 to the rear housing 14.
