PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid ejecting apparatus which reduces a maximum power consumption. SOLUTION: Four inkjet heads with ejection openings for ejecting ink droplets are arranged in a conveyance direction of paper sheets. Along with conveyance of the paper sheet P, a non-ejection control part carries out non-ejection flushing to vibrate menisci formed in the ejection openings for each inkjet head sequentially from the upstream side of the conveyance direction. Thereafter, an ejection control part is operated to eject ink droplets to the paper sheet from the ejection openings. At this time, the non-ejection control part prevents periods of time for non-ejection flushing from overlapping each other among all of the inkjet heads. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
