PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a temperature measuring device that is excellent in drip-proof properties and in tensile strength, for example, when exchanging a temperature measurement sensor. SOLUTION: The temperature measuring device includes a temperature-sensing element 12 for composing a temperature measurement sensor 10, and is electrically connected to a lead wire 14 at a connection section 22 via a lead wire 20 where a coating 18 of each wiring 16 of the lead wire 14 has been removed. The temperature-sensing element 12 is housed in a protecting tube 32. The protecting tube 32 is mounted to a lead wire reinforcing pipe 34 including a plurality of slits. A heat-shrinkable tube 54 for swaging is arranged to cover at least the slit sections of the lead wire reinforcing pipe 34. By thermally shrinking the heat-shrinkable tube 54 for swaging, the slit sections of the lead wire reinforcing pipe 34 are reduced in diameter to clamp the lead wire 14. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
