Disclosed is a tactile sensation imparting device capable of imparting a tactile sensation regardless of position of input of a user when receiving, from the user, uniform press forces for which the tactile sensation is to be imparted. The tactile sensation imparting device is provided with a load detection unit (12) for detecting a press load that differs depending on a press position even if an object applies the same force onto a touch surface of a touch sensor (11) for detecting a touch input; and is characterized in being provided with a tactile sensation imparting unit (13) for imparting a tactile sensation to an object that is pressing the touch surface of the touch sensor (11); and a controller (16) for performing control according to the press position of the touch surface so that the tactile sensation imparting unit (13) imparts the tactile sensation to the object that is pressing the touch surface, regardless of what position of the touch surface that imparts the tactile sensation is pressed by the object that is pressing with uniform forces for which the tactile sensation is to be imparted.
