<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve accuracy in carrying a Y-bar to improve print image quality. <P>SOLUTION: A flat bed 10 on which media are placed and fixed includes a drive mechanism 40 (driving motors 44a, 44b) for carrying the Y-bar 30 in an X-axis direction, and linear scales 50a, 50b. The Y-bar 30 mounted with a head unit 20 includes a head unit drive mechanism 33 (a driving motor 37) for carrying the head unit 20 in a Y-axis direction, and optical linear encoders 51a, 51b detecting the linear scales 50a, 50b. A control part 60 controls the head unit 20, the driving motor 37 and the driving motors 44a, 44b to perform printing control and corrects the control quantity of the driving motors 44a, 44b based on the measured result of the optical linear encoders 51a, 51b. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
