PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polylactic acid-based fiber for artificial hair which hardly causes static electricity, is excellent in combing property, and has little stickiness and favorable touch feeling. SOLUTION: The artificial hair fiber 1 consists mainly of a polylactic acid-based resin. The polylactic acid-based resin contains 0.3-1 wt.% of a glycerol fatty acid ester, and silicone oil at 0.001-0.3 wt.% of the total weight, adheres to the surface of the fiber.
