PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To propose a client device allowing improvement of responsiveness of a service. SOLUTION: The client device including a local cache function includes: a means obtaining, from another client device including the local cache function, an external shared table associating and storing identification information of a content held by the other client device and identification information of the other client device; a means receiving a reference request of a content from a user; a means deciding whether identification information of the content specified by the reference request is registered in the external shared table, determining a transmission destination of a request based on the reference request when it is not registered, determining the transmission destination of the request based on the identification information of the other client registered in the external shared table when it is registered, and transmitting the determined request; and a means obtaining the content in response to the request.
