PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a meeting structure which can be applied to double doors to be opened in both indoor and outdoor directions. SOLUTION: This meeting structure of the double doors to be opened/closed in both indoor and outdoor directions includes the two doors 2a and 2b which are turnably supported on a base end side, and meeting portions 4a and 4b which are provided at the leading ends of the two doors, respectively. The meeting portion includes plate bodies 6a and 6b of a ferromagnetic material, which are attached to the leading ends of the doors in such a manner as to be vertically elongated throughout the height of the door, and slender seal members 8a and 8b. The seal member includes bases 18a and 18b, fins 20a and 20b, and magnets 22a and 22b which are housed in the bases. The seal member is attached to the plate body while having one side surface of the base and the other side surface on the opposite side attracted to the plate body by the magnetic forces of the magnets. The fins have their leading ends engaged with each other when the two doors are in a closed state, so as to close the gap between the leading ends of the two doors. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
