PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To securely cool a slab and a guiding roll by using a straight type nozzle in a slab guiding device. SOLUTION: The slab guiding device 1 is provided with: a guiding roll 8 guiding a slab S to a longitudinal direction so as to be nipped; a frame 7 supporting the guiding roll 8 at the inner circumferential face; a roll cooling means 10 cooling the guiding roll 8; and a slab cooling means 9 cooling the slab S. The cooling means 9, 10 are provided with: a plurality of straight type cooling nozzles 18, 27 spraying a cooling agent to the slab S or the guiding roll 8; and cooling agent feed tubes 19, 28 elongating along the longitudinal direction to the outer circumferential face of the frame 7. The cooling nozzles 18, 27 are respectively fitted in parallel to the longitudinal direction in such a manner that the tips thereof face to the center in the width direction of the slab S, and the cooling agent feed tubes 19, 28 are arranged so as to be separated to either side and the other side while nipping the center in the width direction of the slab S.
