PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure detection of a human body even if illuminance of a detection area is low. SOLUTION: A moving body detection device 2 includes a detection means 8 to detect a moving body entering a predetermined area A, a light source 9 to emit radiation light at least to an inside of the predetermined area A, a lighting control device 10 to turn on the light source 9 when the detection means 8 detects the moving body, an image sensor 11 to output a luminance distribution of the predetermined area A as an image, and an image treatment device 12 to output determination results based on the image by determining if the moving body detected by the detection means 8 is a detecting object established beforehand or not.
