PREPARATION METHOD OF METAL OXIDE-CARBON NANOCOMPOSITE

Disclosed is a preparation method of a metal oxide-carbon nanocomposite, wherein a mixture comprising nanoparticles comprising metal oxyhydroxides or metal oxides and a carbon precursor is treated at pressure lower than an atmospheric pressure to form an organic coating layer encompassing the nanoparticles. The nanoparticles encompassed by the organic coating layer are heat treated to form metal oxide nanoparticles encompassed by a carbon substrate. The metal oxide-carbon nanocomposite is applied to an electrode material of a secondary battery, thereby improving charge/discharge performance and capacity.
