<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a unit and a method for controlling electric vehicle drive for reducing the number of components and improving steerability with simple control. <P>SOLUTION: The electric vehicle drive control unit includes: a pair of pulse control sections 14R, 14L for applying an operating voltage VCR pulse-controlled according to prescribed speed control valuesωBR,ωBL to a pair of motors MTR, MTL independently driving left and right wheels of an electric vehicle respectively; a simple torque control section 30 for calculating armature resistance voltages VR, VL from counter electromotive force voltages VFR, VFL obtained by multiplying respective rotational speedsωR,ωL of the motors MTR, MTL by a counter electromotive force constant Ke and operational voltages VCR, VCL and calculating an armature resistance voltage difference Vdiff between an armature resistance voltage VR of the motor MTR of the right wheel and an armature resistance voltage VL of the motor MTL of the left wheel; a torque difference gain control section 38 for converting the voltage difference Vdiff into a torque difference control valueωC with the armature resistance voltage difference Vdiff as a value proportional to the torque difference Tdiff between the left and right wheels; and a pair of torque difference control value comparison sections 12R, 12L for adding and subtracting the torque difference control valueωC to and from speed control valuesωBR,ωBL. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
