PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flushing method for a drain pipe of a high-rise apartment building capable of being easily executed and easily maintained. SOLUTION: A guide pipe 21 for flushing the drain pipe is laid in the high-rise apartment building B in such a way as to extend from its lower floors to higher floors. A flushing hose 11 connected to a pump vehicle 6 capable of supplying pressurized flushing water and capable of jetting the flushing water can be inserted in the guide pipe 21. In the guide pipe 21, a plurality of floors of the high-rise apartment B have outlets 22 from which an inserted flushing hose can be extracted, and the lowest floor GF of the high-rise apartment at the side of its lower end 21b has an outlet 25 in which the flushing hose 11 can be inserted. The flushing hose 11 is arranged in the vicinity of the outlet 25. At the time of a flushing operation, a base 11a of the flushing hose is connected to the pump vehicle 6, and the side of the tip 11b of the flushing hose is inserted in the guide pipe 21 from the outlet 25 and extracted from an open outlet 22 to jet flushing water from a flushing nozzle provided at the tip of the flushing hose 11 from the pump vehicle 6 to flush the drain pipe 1.
