PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem wherein a mark-off line drawn in cutting wood, plywood, or the like with a hand saw is hardly visible at times, and although an indoor ceiling light, a projector, a flashlight, or the like is lighted, it is difficult or troublesome to prevent casting of the shadow of a saw blade. SOLUTION: A saw handle 1 includes an illuminating body 61 in a position near the front end, and the light irradiating direction of the illuminating body is set downward from horizontalness. A light for the saw is detachably fixed near a connection part between the saw handle and the saw blade, and its light irradiating direction is set downward from horizontalness in the installed state.
