PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fiber product treatment composition that improves adsorbability of silicic acid ester compound on a fiber product under a washing condition having a low bath ratio and strongly perfumes a fiber product for a long time. SOLUTION: The fiber product treatment composition comprises (a) one or more kinds of functional alcohol release precursors selected from silicic acid ester compounds represented by formula (1) [wherein X is -OH, -R<SP>1</SP>, -OR<SP>2</SP>, or -OR<SP>3</SP>; Y is X or OSi(X)<SB>3</SB>; R<SP>1</SP>is 1-22C hydrocarbon or the like; R<SP>2</SP>is a residue after removal of one hydroxy group from functional alcohol; R<SP>3</SP>is 1-6C hydrocarbon; n is a number of 0-15; a plurality of Xs and Ys each may be the same or different and contain at least one -OR<SP>2</SP>in one molecule], and (b) a cationic group-containing high molecular weight polymer.
