PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep a seat back 4 in a standing state by immediately stopping an electric motor even if a switch is left to be ON, when the electric motor is operated by the switch and the operation makes the seat back 4 stand up from a forward-inclined state to a predetermined standing state. SOLUTION: A seat device comprises a lock member which operates to keep the seat back 4 in the standing state when the seat back 4 gets in the predetermined standing state, and a lever 46 which rotates along with the operation of the lock member.
