PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve amusement of a player by preventing a big winning game from becoming monotonous by complicating the opening pattern of a big prize-winning port, in a game machine which generates a special game state wherein the big prize-winning port is opened and a predetermined game value is given to the player when the result mode of a varying display game is brought into a predetermined special result mode. SOLUTION: In the game machine, a game round wherein in the special game state, the big prize-winning port is opened in a predetermined mode until a predetermined number of game balls enter the big prize-winning port or a predetermined period passes is performed a predetermined number of times. The game round includes: a special round wherein the opened state is generated in a first opening mode and the opened state is generated in a second opening mode after the first opening mode on a condition that a predetermined number of game balls does not enter the big prize-winning port in the opened state; and a general round which is a game round other than the special round and wherein the opened state is generated in the first opening mode or the second opening mode.
