PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solvent smell-free laminate material for packaging a food. SOLUTION: The laminate material for packaging the food comprises a paper base material having a print layer, a gas barrier shading film laminated on the paper base material, and a heat fusible resin film laminated on the gas barrier shading film. The laminate material has a shading print layer between the paper base material and the gas barrier shading film and/or between the gas barrier shading film and the heat fusible resin film. The laminate material for packaging the food is free from the solvent smell and can be easily formed into a bag shape by heat sealing.
