The method involves obtaining the signals of three different sensors of the selective catalytic reduction-catalytic system, and closing the plausibility of the signals of a particular sensor. The signals of the level sensor allow closing the refueling event. The signals of the nitrogen oxide sensor allow closing of the increased nitrogen oxide values. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a computer program for achieving plausibility of sensor signals of a sensor in a selective catalytic reduction-catalytic system; and (2) a computer program product comprises a program code.
