Provided is a teleconference system by which, even when a user of the teleconference system moves to another place, the teleconference system can be continuously used. The teleconference system is provided with a takeover information generation unit (5109) which generates takeover information including setting information of a screen structure used for a teleconference between a first teleconference device (5100) and a second teleconference device (5200); a transmission unit (5111) which transmits the takeover information; a reception unit (5312) which receives the takeover information; and a takeover setting unit (5324) which sets a screen structure of a third teleconference device (5300) using the takeover information received by the reception unit (5312) so that the third teleconference device (5300) takes over the screen structure for executing the teleconference with the second teleconference device (5200) after participation of the third teleconference device (5300) in the teleconference is authenticated.
