APPARATUS AND SYSTEM FOR SWITCHING FIBER OPTIC FEEDER LINE USING SPARE OPTICAL CORE IN FTTH NETWORK

PURPOSE: An apparatus and a system for switching a fiber optic feeder line using a spare optical core in an FTTH(Fiber To The Home) network are provided to enhance the use rate of an optical core and save the costs for constructing a fiber optic feeder line by utilizing a spare optical core. CONSTITUTION: An operating port(112) is connected to a walking optical core which constitutes a transmission and reception path of an optical signal in a normal state by being included in an optical cable, and corresponds to the optical cable one-to-one. A protection port(114) forms an optical communication path for the optical cable in which the loss of the optical signal occurs. A switch head(120) is connected to a preliminary optical core which is connected to the projection port, and a control module(140) is connected to the protection port after separating the switch head from the operating port.
