<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system, in which electronic devices and components existing inside the system are maintained at an operation temperature such that effective operation can be continued, and which has durability against extreme environmental conditions. <P>SOLUTION: A system 20 has an outer wall 110 for demarcating an interior chamber to be cooled. An electronic device 42 is mounted within the outer wall 110 in the chamber. A thermoelectric cooler 29 has a low-temperature node 30 disposed so as to be within the chamber, and a high-temperature node 32 disposed on the outside of the outer wall 110.
