<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a separator for a fuel cell which is superior in strength and corrosion resistance, and has less connecting resistance, and to provide a manufacturing method thereof. <P>SOLUTION: The separator for the fuel cell is made equipped with a metal base body 2 made of aluminum or an aluminum alloy, and a conductive resin layer 5 formed by electrodeposition so as to cover the metal base body 2 via a silane coupling treatment layer 4. The resin layer 5 contains a conductive material. Moreover, such a separator is fabricated by means in which the silane coupling agent is coated on the metal base body 2, and subsequently, a resin film is formed by the electrodeposition and by using an electrodeposition solution in which the conductive material is dispersed in a resin having electrodeposition characteristics, and after that, the resin layer 5 is prepared by applying thermosetting treatment. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
