<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform tracking control highly accurately in a non-rotation optical system. <P>SOLUTION: In an optical disk device 1, the image of a reflected light beam LR is divided into a plurality of images by a hologram plate 17 without rotating it, and they are emitted to a photodetector 18 in which stray light receiving area groups 18P and 18Q, and 18R and 18S are provided at a center point Q2 of the light receiving areas 18B and 18C and its opposite side respectively. A signal processing part 4 corrects a light receiving signal U generated on the basis of two sub-beams in the positive reflected light beam LR by each light receiving area R by the addition value of respective stray light receiving signal U generated on the basis of stray light patterns W by each stray light receiving areas R. Thereby, in the optical disk device 1, sub-light receiving values SE and SF corresponding to the light quantity of sub-beams in the reflected light beam LR can be calculated by offsetting stray light components, and a high quality tracking error signal STE can be calculated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
