<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the work of an operator and an assistant for operating a footrest by allowing them to operate the footrest without considering the height state of a treatment chair. <P>SOLUTION: This dental treatment chair includes a leg-rest base plate 20 at the lower end of a leg-rest, sliding portions 31 and 31 of a footrest base plate 30 are engaged with rails 21 and 21 of the leg-rest base plate 20, and the footrest base plate 30 is moved forward/backward by a power cylinder 40. Fig.(A) shows a state where the footrest is pulled out forward the leg-rest and, in this state, a patient undergoes a treatment with the feet put on the footrest. Fig.(B) shows a state where the footrest is stored rearward the leg-rest and, in this state, the patient gets on and off the treatment chair.
