摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect corona discharge generated in a circuit of an electric apparatus, using a non-contact detection technique. <P>SOLUTION: The method for detecting partial corona discharge in a target circuit of an electric apparatus includes a step of winding a Rogowski coil around a leg portion of the target circuit to generate a Rogowski coil signal showing a current change rate in the leg portion of the target circuit, a step of connecting the Rogowski coil signal to a three-dimensional display unit capable showing a dimension of time, a dimension of an amplitude as a function of time and a dimension of an amplitude duration as a function of time in a continuous period having a predetermined duration, a step of monitoring a display device to detect a deviation from a reference waveform of an amplitude duration as a function of time in the leg of the target circuit, and a step of linking a deviation in excess of the predetermined deviation level among the detected deviation from the reference waveform in amplitude duration as a function of time, to partial corona discharge in the target circuit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p>
