<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem of safety in an electric vehicle or the like, since an engine is almost silent during travel and it is difficult for passersby to hear traveling sound when the electric vehicle comes close to the passersby. <P>SOLUTION: A vehicle using an electric motor as its driving source has an artificial sound generating means generating artificial engine sound approximating to engine sound of a gasoline vehicle. This means is constituted of a CAN module unit 2 connectable to CAN bus communication of electrical equipment such as various in-car electric equipment. The unit is constituted by integrally combining a CAN module 10 and an audio/voice module 20 outputting voice based on various control signals from the CAN module. The CAN module receives a signal from a detection means of a driving environment of the vehicle, controls a voice outputting means (speaker 24) connected to the audio/voice module, and outputs the artificial engine sound. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
