<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device capable of suppressing toner scattering due to a collision between a developer served for a developing process and a developer in a developing container. <P>SOLUTION: The developing device includes: the developing container 40 wherein the developer is stored; a developer carrier 41 which supplies the developer to an electrophotographic photoreceptor; a magnetic body 41a fixedly arranged at the inside of the developer carrier, having a plurality of magnetic poles for attracting or peeling the developer to or from the developer carrier; a developer conveying/stirring member 43d for stirring the developer in the developing container and supplying the developer to the developer carrier; and a scattering preventing member 44 disposed vertically beneath an area where the developer is peeled from the developer carrier by the magnetic poles of the magnet body, and vertically above the surface of the developer stirred by the developer conveying/stirring member, with inclination at a predetermined angle in a horizontal direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
