PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing silver powder having characteristics such that grain sizes are small, a grain size distribution is sharp and dispersibility is high without producing flocculated silver powder, and to provide production equipment therefor. SOLUTION: An aqueous solution of silver nitrate and aqueous ammonia are mixed and are reacted so as to obtain an aqueous solution of a silver ammine complex, the aqueous solution of the silver ammine complex and the aqueous solution of a reducing agent are mixed in the air in the presence of grains to form into seed and an imine compound, and the silver grains are reductively precipitated.
