摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polymer actuator element which is light-weight, able to obtain sufficient amount of displacement, and a larger biasing force. SOLUTION: The polymer actuator element 1 includes a laminated structure, in which a polymer film displaced by voltage application is inserted between a pair of electrode films, and is made of a thin film of which one end is held by electrodes 21A, 21B (fixing part). The polymer actuator element 1 has a shape, formed by curving or bending a cross section (YZ cross section) orthogonal to the direction (X-axis direction) separated from the electrodes 21A, 21B. As a result, the rigidity at the voltage application is improved compared with a case where the cross section is composed of only a straight-line part, and the displacement with respect to an external force applied to, for example, the tip 15 (end part) on the side opposite to the electrodes 21A, 21B becomes less apt to occur.
