PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method or the like of a non-gap assembly stranded wire in which burden of equipment cost can be small and the outer diameter does not become large by coating resin. SOLUTION: In the manufacturing method, a plurality of element wires 1 having no coating resin layer and one or a plurality of element wires 1' having coating resin layer 2 are stranded so that at least the outermost layer may become the element wire 1 having no coating resin layer, and an assembly stranded wire 10 is fabricated, and the assembly stranded wire 10 is compression stranded while heating, then the gap between the element wires 1, 1' is filled by the resin softened and deformed of the coating resin layer 2 to manufacture the non-gap assembly stranded wire 11. Since the gap between the element wires is filled with the resin which is deformed from the coating resin layer, it is not necessary to increase the temperature so high to soften the coating resin, and thereby, the burden of equipment can be small. Further, since at least the outermost layer of the assembly stranded wire is made the element wire 1 having no coating resin, the portion to determine the outer diameter of the non-gap assembly stranded wire is not covered with the resin, and the outer diameter does not become large.
