PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for easily producing gallium oxide powder free of aggregation and having good dispersibility. SOLUTION: After aggregated particles of gallium oxyhydroxide containing aggregated particles are crushed with a resin-made member, the gallium oxyhydroxide is fired to obtain the objective gallium oxide powder.
