PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet carrying device effectively reducing noise generated when a sheet rear end is flicked in a curved part and contacts a guide part. SOLUTION: In the sheet carrying device having a guide part and a guide plate for guiding the sheet carried through a carrying means, at least one speaker is disposed in the guide part. The speaker is driven when the sheet rear end is flicked and contacts the guide part. The impact force generated when the sheet rear end is flicked and contacts the guide part can be offset and dispersed by a sound wave generated by the speaker. Accordingly, large impact force is prevented from being generated on the sheet and the guide part, and the noise can be reduced. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
