PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display medium having a hanger function and a method of designing the same. SOLUTION: In the display medium having the hanger function, arm parts 1a and 1b are provided respectively on the right and left side faces of a truck part 1 having a display surface, and also a head part 1h having a hanging function for hanging the trunk part 1 is provided on the upper end of the trunk part 1. The shape of the trunk part 1 is either one of the shape which is a shape of a polygon or a [contour type of nearly object] instead of the polygon and a hanger hook shape, a ring shape, a shape in which a neck part is integrally formed under an adverse nearly C shape part, a shape in which a nearly circular disk part is integrally formed under a nearly (question mark) shape hanger hook, or a shape in which a nearly elliptical disk part is integrally formed under a nearly (question mark) shape hanger hook.
