HOLLOW FIBER MEMBRANE FOR BLOOD PURIFICATION, AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an excellently biocompatible hollow fiber membrane with little variation in the capability caused by the swelling of the membrane in the unattended time after priming, and with excellent affinity of a membrane material with water. SOLUTION: The hollow fiber membrane for blood purification has an ultrafiltration coefficient (UFR(1hr)) of pure water in the elapse of one hour after the priming process and an ultrafiltration coefficient (UFR(24hr)) of pure water in the elapse of 24 hours after the priming process in a specific range. In manufacturing the hollow fiber membrane by a dry/wet spinning method, a bobbin is put into a bag with moisture-permeability in a fixed range to be heated after taking up the hollow fiber membrane in a shape of the bobbin.
