A method and a device for supplying power to a 300PIN 40Gb optical module (22). The device includes a power supply control module (21), a first resistor (R2), a second resistor (R3), and a third resistor (R4). The power supply control module (21) supplies power to the optical module (22) through an APS Digital pin (APS Digital) of the optical module (22). A reference voltage terminal (Vfeedback) of the power supply control module (21) is connected with an APS Sense pin (APS Sense) of the optical module (22) via the second resistor (R3), also connected with an APS Set pin (APS Set) of the optical module (22) via the first resistor (R2), and connected with a bias voltage terminal (Vbias) of the power supply control module (21) via the third resistor (R4). The method and device can increase selection of the power supply control module (21) without occupying excessive circuit board space while ensuring precision of supplied power supply voltage. |
