<p>The invention relates to a system for measuring the traveling speed of a mobile element (10), including means for forming an interference between two portions of a radiation beam. Each beam portion (F1, F2) is reflected by a separate mirror (1, 2), at least one of which is connected to the mobile element. A modulation is further applied to an initial intensity (A0) of the radiation beam during the movement of the mobile element. A spectral analysis of an interference detection signal then provides a direct measurement of the traveling speed of the mobile element.</p> |
