<p>Disclosed are: an organic EL element which has high versatility and excellent high-temperature storage stability, while being suppressed in the generation of dark spots and changes in the driving voltage after high-temperature storage; an organic EL element which is robust with respect to changes in the environmental moisture during the production of the organic EL element; and an organic EL element which exhibits excellent pressure resistance in cases when a pressure is applied thereto from the outside and is suppressed in the generation of dark spots due to the pressure application. Each of the organic EL elements comprises, on a substrate, at least a positive electrode and a negative electrode and, between the positive electrode and the negative electrode, a plurality of functional layers including at least a light-emitting layer and a hole injection layer. Each organic EL element is characterized in that at least one of the plurality of functional layers is a film reinforced functional layer in which a film reinforcing agent is added to a matrix material.</p> |
