<p>A method and a plant for cleaning and drying calcined electrodes, in particular nipple holes in anodes for use in aluminium electrolysis, in which the anode is transported into a plant for the treatment of nipple holes. An air flow is directed towards the anode's nipple hole. The air flow preferably has a high speed during the cleaning process and is preferably heated during the drying process.</p>
