PURPOSE: A post installation structure of a median strip for preventing jaywalking is provided to prevent a post from being overturned when a vehicle collides with the post. CONSTITUTION: A post installation structure of a median strip for preventing jaywalking comprises main steel plates(20), a main hole(10), a cover plate(30), and a post(50). The main steel plates are inserted into the main hole formed in asphalt concrete placed in a centerline. A coupling bar(25) is formed between the main steel plates. The cover plate covers the main steel plates. The post is coupled to the main steel plates through the cover plate.
