<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of processing living tissue in a field of regenerative medical techniques for implanting the living tissue instead of a patient's own organ or tissue which does not normally function and in a field of research material techniques as three-dimensional footing for observing growth and differentiation of various cells. <P>SOLUTION: The method of processing the living tissue is characterized by immersing soft tissues including blood vessels, heart valves, pericardia, corneas, amnions and dura mater, hard tissues including bones, cartilage and teeth, and organs or part of the organs including the heart, kidneys, lever, pancreas and brain, which are animal-derived living tissues, in a treatment liquid including a surfactant; irradiating these tissues or organs with ultrasonic waves of a frequency of 20-100 kHz for 1-24 hours as a net irradiation period while retaining the temperature at 0-40°C; and washing and removing donor cells destroyed by the ultrasonic irradiation from the living tissue with the washing liquid.
