<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problems:when data are recorded in JPEG format, over- or under-exposure may occurs in some objects to generate an undesired picture, and on the other hand, when recorded in RAW format, the picture can be repaired by postprocessing or the like, while it is bothersome for a user to change the format each time. <P>SOLUTION: A digital camera includes: a recording-format selecting means for selecting a recording format by the user; a decision means deciding the format suitable for the recording format from shooting information; and a decision means deciding the recording format of the digital camera by the result of the selection of the recording-format selecting means and the result of the decision of the decision means, for imaging and recording. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
