PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an episulfide compound that is low in crystallinity and exhibits excellently fast curability. SOLUTION: The episulfide compound has a structure represented by general formula (1). In general formula (1), at least one of R<SP>1</SP>-R<SP>10</SP>is a thiirane ring-containing group; and R<SP>1</SP>-R<SP>10</SP>other than the thiirane ring-containing group are the same or different and are each a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group.
